- Patients will be checked with a forehead thermometer to monitor for fever and screened for other symptoms as per guidelines
- Use of PPE (masks/face-coverings and gloves) for patients and therapist
- Hand sanitizer (above 70% alcohol content) will be available within the clinic for use for patients and therapist
- Soap and wash stations are also available
- All surfaces contacted will be wiped after each use using CDC-approved solutions
- Telehealth is an option when appropriate and according to the patient’s comfort level
- As well as other precautions as we continue to monitor recommendations (CDC.gov COVID)

Jonathan is also certified in trigger point dry needling technique, Kinesio-Taping, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Blood-Flow Restriction Therapy, Cupping, and Instrument-Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
After advancing his skill set in physical therapy techniques, Jonathan began seeing a demand for nutrition training among the patients he treated and went on to complete Precision Nutrition’s certification program. He uses this knowledge to help all patients help optimize results.
Jonathan is currently a professor at Rutgers’ and Kean University’s doctor of physical therapy program and was previously and adjunct professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Jonathan enjoys advancing the career of physical therapy and mentors many student physical therapists. In addition to teaching and mentoring, Jonathan is actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) orthopedic and sports sections.
Our #1 growth factor at RISE is word of mouth. So don't just take our word for it, hear directly from our beloved patients!
Every doctor I went to recommended a knee replacement for me. This place brought my knee back to life with simple techniques. This young doctor is nothing short of brilliant.
Dr. Gayed is an amazing PT! Very knowledgeable and is determined to figure out where the problem is coming from so he can come up with the best solution and plan to attack your problem areas. Highly highly recommended!
Dr Gayed provided me with exceptional, personalized care that was above and beyond any other PT experience I have had. He is an extremely knowledgeable clinician with great energy. As a physical therapist myself, I highly recommend a consult with Dr Gayed for any orthopedic needs you may have!
Just after one simple hour with Dr. Gayed, his skills in this industry were on full display. The diagnosis he gave was swift, but more importantly, correct. He did a fantastic job, and it would not make sense to seek my specific athletic medical attention from anywhere else!
I’ve been going to Dr Gayed for my chronic back pain. I’ve gone to multiple PTs before seeing him and tried some things on my own such as traction and a posture strap. His treatment program has by far given me the most relief and in the shortest number of visits! He will see you one-on-one for the entire treatment session which makes a big difference. Would highly recommend him!
